Privacy policy
Glaze Shift
Last updated: August 29, 2026
Scope and current status
This policy describes the privacy behavior of Glaze Shift editions distributed by Extenup. The SDK-free itch.io edition was publicly released on August 29, 2026. The exact SDK-free Telegram-target web build was also published to a stable HTTPS host on August 29, 2026, but it is not yet configured or published as a Telegram Direct Mini App. Other editions remain local candidates or external-platform drafts unless their own store page says otherwise. Before another edition is published, its final package, platform services, store disclosures, and this policy must be checked together.
There are two distinct distribution types:
- SDK-free editions: the standalone web build, an itch.io HTML5 build, a Telegram-hosted web build, and an Android wrapper built only from the standalone game.
- Portal editions: builds made specifically for a portal such as Playgama, CrazyGames, GameDistribution, Yandex Games, or Poki and integrated with that portal's official SDK.
The store or portal page identifies the edition being used. A portal edition must not be treated as the SDK-free edition.
Game progress and preferences
Glaze Shift can save the current puzzle and move history, completed level identifiers, best move counts, sound preference, selected language, and technical save information such as a schema version, content identifier, revision, and integrity digest. This save does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, contact, precise location, photo, camera or microphone recording, advertising identifier, payment information, chat message, or health information.
The game may read the browser, device, or platform language as a first-run localization hint. This is not geolocation. Sound is synthesized on the device with WebAudio and does not use the microphone.
SDK-free standalone, itch.io, Telegram, and Android editions
In an SDK-free edition, progress and preferences stay in browser or app-private storage on the player's device. The game itself has no advertising, analytics, purchases, account system, external login, cloud save, tracking pixel, social feature, or developer-operated network service. It does not send gameplay or save data to Extenup.
The current signed Android 0.1.0 release candidate contains only bundled game files. Its audited release package requests no Internet access, advertising ID, precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, broad file access, or dangerous runtime permission. It contains no advertising, analytics, purchases, account, login, cloud-save, or portal SDK. At this policy update, the Android release candidate has not been submitted to or released through Google Play.
A hosting or distribution service may still process ordinary connection, account, device, or store information needed to deliver its website, Telegram interface, download, or app store. That processing is performed by the service under its own privacy policy and is separate from the SDK-free game code.
Portal editions and official platform SDKs
A portal-specific build can use only the services declared for that exact portal edition. Depending on the portal, its official SDK may provide a language setting, progress storage, loading and gameplay lifecycle events, pause, visibility and audio state, and advertising when advertising is enabled for that edition.
- Playgama: the current local target uses Playgama Bridge for platform language, platform storage of the same game-progress payload, and audio, pause, visibility, loading, and gameplay lifecycle state. It can request a level-end interstitial only after both three completed levels and 180 seconds since the prior opportunity. Startup ad preload, rewarded ads, banners, and advanced banners are disabled. A prior draft build and media were uploaded and Guided Certification reached 100%, but one no-ads finding kept moderation submission disabled. A corrected local build with the declared level-end interstitial configuration is pending re-upload. No Playgama build has been submitted, approved, or publicly released.
- CrazyGames: the current local target uses the official SDK for platform language, the Data Module for progress, loading and gameplay lifecycle, mute state, and a midgame ad opportunity at a completed-level break. The SDK decides whether an ad is filled and applies platform cooldowns. This target has not been run in the portal, submitted, or publicly released.
- GameDistribution: no final GameDistribution build exists because a real GameDistribution game ID is not yet available. No temporary or dummy archive is treated as a distributable edition. Any later GameDistribution build must be audited with this policy before upload or release.
- Yandex Games: the current local target uses the official SDK for platform language, loading and gameplay lifecycle, pause/resume, and a fullscreen ad opportunity only after both three completed levels and 180 seconds since the prior opportunity. Game progress remains in browser-local storage. This target has not been run in the portal, submitted, or publicly released.
- Poki: the current local target uses the official SDK for loading and gameplay lifecycle and a commercial-break opportunity at a completed-level break. Game progress remains in browser-local storage. This target has not been run in the portal, submitted, or publicly released.
No portal target is described as uploaded, submitted, approved, or public unless its platform status confirms that state. No current target contains purchases, an Extenup account system, or a separate Extenup analytics SDK.
What a portal may process
When a portal edition uses platform storage, as the current local Playgama and CrazyGames targets do, the saved puzzle progress and preferences may be sent to and restored from that portal. The portal may associate its service with a portal account or device under its own rules. The current Yandex and Poki targets keep progress in browser-local storage instead. When portal advertising is enabled, the portal and its advertising providers may process account, device, connection, consent, and advertising information under the portal's privacy policy.
A portal may also produce its own aggregate statistics, such as starts or play time, for its developer dashboard. Glaze Shift does not add a separate Extenup analytics SDK, advertising network, account database, or cross-app tracking system. Extenup may view the aggregate reports and moderation or support information that a portal makes available to publishers.
Advertising and purchases
SDK-free editions contain no advertising or purchases. The current Playgama and Yandex local targets space level-end ad opportunities by at least three completed levels and 180 seconds. The current CrazyGames and Poki local targets offer their official SDK one ad opportunity at a completed-level break, with fill and cooldown controlled by the portal. Advertising is not requested at startup and occurs only at a natural break while gameplay and sound are paused. Glaze Shift has no in-game purchases or external payment system.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Device-local progress remains until the player clears the site's or app's local data or uninstalls the Android app. A language or sound preference can be changed in the game.
When a portal edition uses platform storage, progress stored by that portal is retained and deleted according to its account controls, retention rules, and privacy policy. A player can use the portal's privacy or account tools for portal-controlled information. For a question sent to Extenup, identify the game and portal but do not send a password, access token, payment information, or a copy of private account data.
Children's privacy
Glaze Shift is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children. The game does not ask players to submit personal information. A platform may apply its own age, consent, account, or advertising rules to its service.
Security and policy changes
Saved progress is validated for compatibility and integrity before it is restored, but no storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Extenup will update this policy and the relevant store disclosures before adding a developer analytics service, account, purchase, new advertising behavior, additional cloud storage, or another material data practice.
