Playlist Multi-Save Privacy Policy

Playlist Multi-Save keeps YouTube's native Save to playlist panel open while you select multiple playlists. This policy explains the extension's local data handling. This wording correction describes existing behavior; it does not introduce a new permission, recipient, or data use.

Data processed

The extension runs only on https://www.youtube.com/*. It observes page clicks, keyboard events to recognize Escape, and element structure to recognize the native Save to playlist panel and its controls. For a clicked row recognized as a playlist-selection control, it also reads that row's displayed title and subtitle, which may contain a playlist name. It uses the row text locally to preserve the row's accessibility label while keeping the panel open.

This processing takes place in the YouTube page's memory. The extension does not request YouTube account API access, inspect playlist contents, or extract authentication data or browsing history. YouTube itself continues to process playlist changes made through its normal controls.

Storage and network requests

Playlist Multi-Save has no persistent extension storage and sends no data to a developer service. It makes no network requests of its own. Temporary row text, accessibility labels, and UI references remain in page memory during operation; the extension does not write them to disk or synchronize them between devices.

The extension does not provide a separate account. YouTube's own processing of your account and playlist changes is governed by Google's policies.

Data use

The extension uses page structure, clicks, Escape-key handling, and row text only to keep the native playlist panel open, preserve accessibility labels, and allow normal closing. It does not use analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, remote configuration, or remotely hosted executable code. It does not sell data or transfer it to the developer or another service, and does not use it for creditworthiness, advertising, or a purpose unrelated to this function.

Retention and deletion

The extension keeps no persistent record of your selections or playlist labels. Temporary values and page changes can remain in memory while the page is open. Reloading or closing the page clears that page's extension state. Removing or disabling the extension prevents it from running on subsequently loaded pages; reload existing YouTube tabs to clear the current page state.

Removing the extension does not undo playlist changes you made on YouTube. Manage those changes using YouTube's normal controls.

Changes

If a future version changes data handling, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before that version is distributed.
