Splitile Privacy Policy

Effective: August 25, 2026 · Release 1.0.0 · Publisher: extenup

Summary

Splitile is designed to play without a developer account. Local editions use device storage for game progress and preferences. They do not contain developer analytics, advertising, purchases, chat, or a developer-operated gameplay server.

Portal editions are different. A portal-specific build may use only that portal's SDK for the services described below. The portal may process data under its own terms even when the Splitile developer does not receive that data.

Local editions

This section covers the standalone web, itch.io, Telegram-hosted, and offline Android editions of release 1.0.0.

The game may store game progress, stable level or run identifiers, accepted move actions, completion state, score, mastery and unlock state, selected language, and audio preferences on the device. Audio preferences can include mute, music/effects switches, reduced-sensory mode, and volume levels.

The game may read the browser or device language and reduced-motion preference to choose initial settings. The local editions do not send those values, gameplay progress, or preferences to the Splitile developer. If storage is unavailable, the game is designed to remain playable for the current session.

The local editions do not ask for a name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, advertising identifier, or payment information. They do not include a developer analytics SDK.

A web host still receives ordinary requests needed to deliver the page and bundled files. itch.io and Telegram may also process access or account information as the hosting platform. Platform-generated aggregate page or play statistics are host processing rather than telemetry emitted by the game code.

The offline Android edition is packaged with its web files. Its audited source manifest requests no Internet permission and no dangerous runtime permission. A generated manifest may contain an app-specific, signature-protected AndroidX permission for internal receiver protection; it does not grant network, sensor, location, media, contacts, or advertising access.

Retention and deletion

Local progress and preferences remain until the player uses a verified in-game reset, clears the site's or app's storage, or uninstalls the Android app. The Splitile developer has no remote copy to retrieve or delete for local editions.

Portal editions

Portal adapters are integrated behind compile-time target selection. Separate 1.0.0 CrazyGames, Playgama, GameDistribution, and Yandex archives passed local deterministic packaging and target-isolation checks. The table describes the maximum behavior of each separately built portal target. Each exact archive and live SDK contract is verified in its portal before submission; portal dashboards remain authoritative for current moderation and publication state.

The standalone development target has no advertising, developer analytics, or gameplay network service. Matching portal targets can use only their named SDK and can request a paced interstitial from Continue after a completed level; the game requires at least three completed levels and three elapsed minutes before such an opportunity and never requests a startup ad. Portal-side policy, consent, and frequency controls remain authoritative.

EditionIntended host servicesLocal behavior
CrazyGamesGame-save string through the Data Module; loading/gameplay state; host mute setting; completed-level interstitial requestMigration when remote save is empty, or fallback after SDK storage failure
PlaygamaPlatform language; Bridge game-save storage; ready/gameplay messages; completed-level interstitial state and requestSave is also written locally and used if Bridge storage fails
GameDistributionSDK ready/error and ad pause/start lifecycle; completed-level interstitial requestProgress remains device-local
Yandex GamesPlatform language; game-save string through Player data when available; loading-ready call; completed-level fullscreen ad state and requestSave is also kept locally and used if Player data is unavailable

A portal SDK or ad provider may independently process technical, account, consent, or advertising information. The exact SDK configuration, network traffic, consent flow, publisher access, and current portal form must be audited before submission. The portal controls remote retention and deletion. Clearing browser storage does not necessarily erase a portal cloud save.

Children and ratings

Splitile is a general-audience puzzle game and is not designed, listed, or marketed specifically for children. It does not knowingly ask players to provide personal information. Child-directed categories, under-13 target bands, or child-directed advertising require a separate product, SDK, consent, and privacy review.

Each platform assigns its rating from the submitted binary and questionnaire. This policy does not claim a rating before a platform assigns one.

Policy changes

This policy and the store disclosures must be reviewed before adding analytics, accounts, cloud services, advertising, purchases, social features, new permissions, or a new network destination. A dated revision must describe the exact distributed build.
